Final Invitation Workshop
Supported by the the Regional Research Promotion Programme Project for the Western
Balkans (RRPP) of the Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation, the Albanian
Centre for Socio-Economic Reasearch (ACSER) together with the Macedonian Research
Centre Analytica and the Center for Economic Development and Research (CEDAR) from
Sarajevo were granted the project “Impact of Migration on Women Empowerment in Western
Balkan Countries”. This project is coming to an end after 16 months.
On behalf of the project partners, ACSER has the pleasure to invite you to the final event
“Migration and Development in the Western Balkans“ taking place
in Elbasan, Albania on 16th December 2013
You find out more about the workshop programme in the attached Agenda.
In addition, the workshop aims to stimulate the debate on the topic of migration and
development in the Balkan region bringing together international and regional keynote
speakers who are experts and have contributed in this field.
For participants outside Elbasan, travel and accommodation costs will be covered and for
students who participate to this event certificate of attendance will be delivered. The
language of the workshop is English and interpretation English-Albanian will be provided.
